Family films — history in motion

A photograph stops a moment. A film preserves a person: their voice, the way they speak, the way they laugh. A family film is not a montage of photographs. It is a living story, filmed with respect for its participants.

The first generation remembers. The third — no longer

Two generations from now there will be no living carriers of the family story. Everything that is not recorded will disappear. Film is the closest thing to a living person as a means of preserving what was.

Not reportage — a slow immersion

We do not arrive with a camera at a celebration. We enter the family's life gradually: getting to know people, talking, studying the archives. Only when we understand what this story is about do we begin filming. The result is a film the family will want to watch again decades later.

We do not film events. We film people, while they are still here.
